As a fully qualified counsellor with many years experience working with a wide rage of issues, one of the things I am passionate about is the importance of people having access to high quality counselling to enable them to safely and with confidence explore the aspects of their lives which they are finding difficult.
As a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists I work with adults, young people and couples. Working as an Integrative therapist enables me to draw on my knowledge of different theoretical approaches to ensure my clients get the support they need, working in this way enables me to offer each client what they need in the way they need it.
I offer all clients wishing to explore therapy a 20 minuet free consultation which can be carried out over the phone or face to face.

Experience
My training.
I hold my CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling I am also a registered member of the British Association for counsellors and psychotherapists. I embarked on this training because I wanted to work with people on a personal level offering support, and empowering them to achieve their goals.
I have also undertaken some further more specialist training in areas such as Trauma and Mindfulness both of which are areas of interest to me.
Prior to my work as a therapist I worked in Addiction working within the criminal Justice system. I worked in this field for 9 years. From working in this setting I have gained not only experience but a keen interest in supporting staff working within these types of jobs, such as police and prison officers. My own experience of these jobs has allowed me a unique insight into the stresses and challenges the people working within these roles face on a daily basis.
